How It Works
Direct (semi-permanent) colour coats the surface of the hair without penetrating the hair fibre. The colour gradually fades with washing, making it perfect for creative colour work, colour refreshing, or clients who prefer temporary results.
Tone-on-Tone vs Direct vs Permanent
Direct (semi-permanent) colour is applied without an oxidant and washes out over time.
Tone-on-tone colour is mixed with an oxidant to softly enhance the existing tone without lightening.
